⭐J C Dobb Spring Gala Final Round 3⭐

Last Saturday in the final round of the Spring JC Dobb Gala 2018 held at Sutton Dolphins put on a great performance to finish third on the night and third in the spring league overall. Notching up six firsts, five runners up spots and sixteen third places on the night.
The first victory of the night came in the 14/U 50m Backstroke where Luke Hill once again got dolphins off to a winning start early on. Lauren Daft next winning the 14/U 50m Breaststroke. Lynden Johnson then commenced his impressive treble by winning the 50m Open Breaststroke, 14/U 50m Butterfly and 50m 14/U Freestyle. The final victory of the night went to Katie Hill in the 12/U 50m Butterfly.
With many close finishes individual runner up spots came in the 14/U 50m Backstroke Lauren, 10/U 25m Backstroke Sasha York 10/U 25m Freestyle and 25m Butterfly Joel Gospel, and a team relay second 4×25 Freestyle for Lynden, Luke, Luka and Felix.
Third places on the night were a plenty and made all the difference to secure third spot. Individual third places for Luka 12/U 50m Breaststroke and 12/U 50m Freestyle, Katie Open 50m Breaststroke, 14/U 50m Butterfly and Open 50m Butterfly, Abigail Jones on her debut 12/U 50m Backstroke, Sophie Pritchard 10/U 25m Breaststroke, Lauren 14/U 50m Freestyle, Lynden Open 50m Butterfly, Tracey Jackson Open 50m Backstroke, and finally Luke Open 50m Backstroke.
Relay thirds in the 10/U 4×25 Freestyle Scarlett Baxter (debut), Sophie, Sasha and Katie, 12/U 4×25 Freestyle, Scarlett, Katie, Tesha Goodwin and Sasha, 10/U 4×25 Medley Scarlett, Sasha, Joel and Rhys, 14/U 4×25 Freestyle Lauren, Katie, Sally Warsop and Abigail. The final third place in the 10×25 Cannon for Grace Pritchard, Rhys Harwood, Sam Ellison, Felix Joel, Scarlett, Matthew Horton, Abigail, Sally, Lauren and Lynden.
A spokesperson for the club said, “some superb swims tonight from a squad that was effected by the school holidays. This however, really allowed some of our new and young swimmers to shine through. Many swimming up several age groups and remaining very competitive.’
