Hucknall and Linby dolphins were over the moon with six 1st places, two 2nd, eight 3rd and 16 Personal bests in last weekend’s JC Dobb Gala in front of a packed house at Hucknall leisure centre.

Dolphins first places coming from Lynden Johnson with an impressive treble on the night in the Open 50m Breaststroke, Open 50m Butterfly and Open 50m Backstroke. Dolphin firsts also coming in the14/U 50m Backstroke Luke Hill, 10/U 25m Backstroke Joel Gospel and Open 50m Butterfly Hayley Goodwin.
Two second places on the night going to Lauren Daft 14/U 50m Breaststroke and Lynden Open 50m Freestyle Lynden.

Eight third places in the 10/U 25m Backstroke Sophie Pritchard, Open 50m Freestyle and Backstroke Hayley, 10/U 25m Breaststroke Scarlett Baxter, 10/U 25m Breaststroke Rhys Harwood,10/U 25m Butterfly Joel.
Relay third places on the night 10/U 4×25 Freestyle Relay Ellie Norris, Scarlett, Catie Morgan and Sophie. 10/U 4×25 Medley Relay Thomas Hallam, Sophie, Joel and Ellie.
Sixteen personal bests on the night from Sally Warsop -Hook, Ellie, Sophie, Joel, Lauren, Thomas, Tyler, Lynden, Luke, Rhys, Iris, Hayley, Scarlett, Joel, Catie, with the remainder of the points coming from relay swimmers Isaac Brewster, Victoria Baginska, James Edwards, Sam Ellison, Jasmine Marks, Megan Flint, Caitlin Richards and Jack Warsop -Hook.

A spokesperson for the club said ‘when you put in 16 individual race personal best on the night you know you swimmers have given all they have. This implies overall club improvement. Placings matter but are affected by other individuals in those races, personal best times however are totally in the hands of the individual swimmers.👏👏👏👏
