Hucknall and Linby dolphins were pleased with seven 1st places, five 2nd places, eight 3rd places and 13 personal bests in last weekend’s JC Dobb Gala at Lammas leisure centre.
Dolphins first places coming in the 14/U 50m Breaststroke and 12/U 50m Butterfly Katie Hill, Open 50m Breaststroke and Butterfly Lynden Johnson, 14/U 50m Freestyle Luke Hill and 10/U 25m Butterfly Joel Gospel.
With a first place finish in the mixed 14/U 4×25 Medley Relay Luke, Brianna Brown, Katie and Felix Bodill.
Second places on the night for 14/U 50m Backstroke Luke, 10/U 25m Backstroke Sophie Pritchard, 14/U 50m Butterfly Felix, 10/U 25m Breaststroke Joel and Open 50m Butterfly Hayley Goodwin.
Eight third places in the 12/U 50m Breaststroke and Backstroke Luka Gospel, Open 50m Freestyle and Backstroke Hayley, 14/U 50m Breaststroke Luke, 10/U 25m Butterfly Scarlet Baxter. Relay thirds going to 8/9 4×25 Breaststroke Relay Grace Pritchard, Isaac Brewster, Ruby Fell, Caitlin Thompson and 8/9 4×25 Mixed Medley Relay Charlie Bodill, Ruby, Caitlin and Grace.
Thirteen personal bests on the night from Sally Warsop – Hook, Luke, Ella Staniforth, Luka (2), Lynden, Charlie, Brianna, Felix, Tesha Goodwin, Scarlet, Joel and Ben Pelling.
The remainder of the points were won by Lauren Daft, Rhys Harwood, Tilly Mae – Goose, and Gary Johnson.
A spokesperson for the club said ‘a good haul of top three places coupled with many personal bests shows the changes to our training programs are starting to come through in the results’ 👏👏👏👏
